Remembering "The Why", or, 'My Pep Talk to Me, (Generalized)'

No, not the 'Y'. The Why. It's the reason all we crazy people decide it's a great idea to get up at five in the morning to go get sweaty first thing. Or hey, maybe you're more of an 'after work' type who after working all freakin' day, much of the time at something totally banal still manages to drag their ass to Zumba. Or maybe you're both, depending on the day. Whatever, I don't care because that's not the point. The point is, that we do it. The point is that even when we get distracted, we keep going back.
Fitness is not the kind of thing that you can just 'decide' to 'not do'. Yeah, it kinda sucks sometimes;  yeah it would be really nice to get those extra few minutes of cuddling with your preferred entity. (Yeah. I sometimes talk like an eighty year old lady. Deal with it.) A comfort zone is a place where squishy people reside. Do you really want to be squishy? I didn't think so.
So get your ass (and the rest of you) to the gym, because you're awesome! Every time you push yourself just a little past the point where it hurts? That's called progress, and that's something you can take to the bank.
